Your information, explained.

SiteRoam stores the information needed to run your account and website listings. This version does not include advertising trackers or marketing email subscriptions.

What we store.

Your account name, email address, password hash, and login sessions are stored in our database. We do not store your password in plain text. We also store listing information you provide and any reports submitted through the directory.

What is public.

Published listing names, URLs, descriptions, categories, tags, pricing labels, and update dates are public. Your account email address and login details are not exposed in the public directory.

Cookies.

We use an essential, HTTP-only session cookie to keep you signed in for up to 30 days. Signing out invalidates that session. This cookie is required for account and listing management.

External services and links.

Visiting a listed website takes you to a third-party service with its own policies. This version loads fonts from Google Fonts, which receives normal network request information such as your IP address.

Managing your information.

You can edit or hide listings in your workspace. Hiding removes a listing from public results but keeps the record in storage. Self-service account deletion, email changes, and password recovery are not available in this first version; operator support processes must be established before public launch.
